My stay at Bnb Residenza D Epoca Il Casato was charming, with unique features that really set it apart from a regular hotel. The location was excellent, just a few minutes from Piazza del Campo, though the staff's service was a mixed bag with some minor inconveniences. Overall, I enjoyed my time there, but there were a few areas that could use improvement.

The room was spacious with a lovely balcony and a nice view. I appreciated the mini-fridge and the cleanliness, but I did notice some water damage on the ceiling, typical for an older building.

The reception staff were friendly, but I did encounter a check-in issue that was frustrating. Communication could be improved in terms of availability, especially during lunch hours.

The hotel is situated perfectly for exploring Siena, being very close to the main attractions. I loved the atmosphere of the area, although it did get noisy at times, especially during the night.

The hotel had some lovely common areas, like the garden, which added to the charm. However, the lack of an elevator and other modern conveniences was a downside.

I had a mixed experience at Bnb Residenza D Epoca Il Casato. The charming ambiance and unique medieval architecture really stood out, yet the lack of air conditioning and cleanliness didn't meet my expectations. especially for the price. Despite the beautiful frescoes and helpful staff, the steep stairs and absence of certain amenities made my stay a bit challenging.

My room had a stunning fresco ceiling and overlooked the historic streets of Siena. However, the shower was quite cramped, and the cleanliness left something to be desired.
Service

The staff was friendly and accommodating, though communication was tricky as some did not speak English. The limited front desk hours were also inconvenient.

The hotel's location was perfect, just blocks from the main attractions. However, the surrounding streets were steep and winding, which required some effort to navigate.

The absence of an elevator and the numerous stairs were tough, especially with luggage. The hotel did have a cozy common area which added to the charm.

I had a pleasant stay at Bnb Residenza D Epoca Il Casato. The historic atmosphere was charming, and the service from the staff, particularly Caterina, was really good. However, I found the room to be quite basic and the breakfast served to be only average in quality. The lack of an elevator and the steep stairs to the front desk may deter some travelers.

Rooms

My room was small and plain, yet it featured a stunning ceiling fresco that added character. The amenities were quite limited, and the bathroom was narrow, typical of many places in Italy.
Service

I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Caterina went out of her way to assist me with my luggage and provided valuable local information. Overall, the service was a highlight of my stay.
Location

The location is perfect, a short walk from the main square and many restaurants. However, the steep hill to the Piazza and the numerous stairs without an elevator can be a challenge.
Dining

Breakfast was delivered to my room which included a decent spread but was rather average in quality. I appreciated the convenience but wished for more variety.

The absence of an elevator and the construction work happening during my stay were drawbacks. However, the communal areas were clean, and there were lovely sitting rooms to enjoy.

The room was lovely, and the character of the building was captivating. However, limited staff presence made certain needs challenging to meet.

I had a nice stay at Il Casato, with its charming historical atmosphere and great location near Piazza del Campo. though I faced a few challenges during my visit. The receptionist was helpful, but the absence of staff at night made arriving late a bit stressful. The room was cozy, but smaller than expected, and the steep stairs without an elevator could be an issue for some guests.

My room was nice but very small, with a bathroom that had no windows and a bed that was too short for my boyfriend. it was light and airy with a fantastic view, but the noise from the boiler was noticeable.

The reception staff were very friendly and willing to help, but my experience was marred by the fact that I had to carry my luggage up the stairs by myself. They did provide room service for breakfast, which was a nice touch. though the selection was quite limited.
